Guests from Bond University Visited the International School

On 5th December, Professor Mark Hirst, dean of the Business School of Australia Bond University, paid a visit to international school. Yang Hui, dean of international school, together with Xiao Long, vice dean of international school, met with Prof. Mark Hirst at the dean’s office. Dean Yang Hui briefed the guest on the development history of international school, the characteristics of running school and the basic information of overseas cooperative education. Prof. Mark expressed his celebration to the 10th anniversary of international school and supported the idea of running school in a international way. Afterwards, Prof. Mark gave a introduction of the current international cooperation pattern and the curriculum overview of Bond University. Both sides exchanged their views on student exchange and reached a consensus.

 

This visit followed last year’s visit by Professor Keitha Dunstan, dean of the Business School of Bond University. Bond University was the only nonprofit private university nowadays founded by Queensland government, funded by private consortium and managed by Australia Education Department. Bond University is known for its three terms’ intensive learning every year. Its MBA courses and pragmatic business courses(accounting, marketing management) win global recognition. The education quality of the courses of accounting, markets and MBA of Bond University’s business school is rated first by the Australia Graduates Guidance Committee, among which the MBA courses are valued as Five Star.
