Preliminary Round of Freshman English Speaking Contest

The Freshman English Speaking Contest was successfully held on November 24th in the No.1 Teaching Building. This contest provided a platform for the freshmen to show themselves and communicate in English.

There are two topics to choose by yourself before the competition, one is Born this way, the other is Stay hungry, Stay Foolish. All the participants have their own advantages. Some conquered the judges with their enthusiasm and passion, some won warm applause by their rationality and clam. Inevitably, all the audiences were impressed by their their excellent performance and good character which reflected the inherent spirit of students in International School. Special thanks go to the judges. They made comments about the performance of every students and gave their pertinent suggestions. After fierce competition, a total of 10 students passed the preliminary round and will take part in the tougher final competition.

The contest offered a chance for students to practice their English and logical reasoning ability. Let’s expect their better level of performance in the upcoming final competition.
